Good day Sameer,

The latest topics are all withing the CIB (candidate information bulletin),  you can download it on the isc2 website.

Do a search in google for:   isc2 cib filetype:pdf

The first two links are the CIB itself and the change introduce in 2012.

Best regards

Re: [CCCure CISSP] Latest changes to cissp

Rogelio O'Farril
That may not be entirely accurate.

Per https://www.isc2.org/arrangements.aspx:

"Hard copy language translation dictionaries are permitted for the examination should you choose to bring one to assist you with language translation. Electronic dictionaries will not be permitted under any circumstances. The Examination Supervisor will fully inspect your dictionary at check-in. Your dictionary may not contain any writing or extraneous materials of any kind. If the dictionary contains writing or other materials or papers, it will not be permitted in the examination room. Additionally, you are not permitted to write in your dictionary at any time during the examination, and it will be inspected a second time prior to dismissal from the examination. Finally, (ISC)² takes no responsibility for the content of such dictionaries or interpretations of its contents by a candidate."

Re: [CCCure CISSP] Latest changes to cissp

David Nickel
That is true but the language dictionary allowance is suppose to be used for international test takers. At least that is how it was explained to me. I guess you could take Webster dictionary but not sure about a computer term dictionary. I am taking my CISSP next month. It would be nice to get a official answer.

Good day to all,

The dictionary allowance is for anyone who has English as a second language.

The text quoted below dates form about 10 years ago.  I would call ISC2 and see if this rule has changed with the introduction of the new online test.

The dictionary they are allowing are word for word translation dictionary without the definition of the word.  Else it would give you an unfair advantage.

If someone has the time please contact ISC2 and let us know what are the rules with the VUE online exam.

Best regards to all

Clement
